Two years ago we dedicated and blessed the Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House in the presence of 200 donors, volunteers, Bon Secours leaders and community. Since that special day, we have served more than 1,200 families. Thank you to the donors, volunteers and supporters who help us be good help to those in need.
“Wow! You guys rock! This house and its staff took away the worries of daily living so that my friend and I could focus on her surgery and wellness that followed. The dedication and compassion shown by the guest house staff was greatly appreciated!! Thank you all for expediting my friend’s recovery and taking away my anxiety.” – Left in our guest book on 5/24
We are so lucky to have the Bon Secours St Mary’s Hospital Switchboard/Telecom team here to make dinner for our guests and help distract them from our event set up! 🙂 On the menu for tonight is some delicious meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese and fresh veggies! Thanks again to these wonderful volunteers!!
Wow! What can we say…Thank you so much to all of the donors, sponsors, volunteers, BSHSI staff, vendors, and treasured guests both current and past. Tonight’s event was an amazing success and it’s all thanks to you. Thank you for your continued support. During the event, we had 11 families in-house. All were given the option to move to a hotel, but opted to help us celebrate!
We would like to thank the Noah and Taylor from Goochland High School for selecting the Reinhart Guest House as their “senior project”. Noah and Taylor, below with our executive director Lisa Patten, made an amazing presentation about their work at the house.
Dinner, supply donations, writing cards, etc.; these kids did it all! Happy graduation and best of luck on your next chapter! We will not forget you!!
“Thank you for your kind efforts, warm fare, and for making it possible to be within a short walk of my husband. I would feel nervous to drive away at this point. Thank you”. – A kind note this morning from one of our guests. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day! We would like to thank Sue Kallamadi, founder of www.trunk-up.com, for her generous donation of beautiful wraps for all of the mothers staying at the Reinhart Guest House this Mother’s Day weekend.
