Since opening in June 2014, the Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House has supported more than 3,200 families! With only 6 staff members, we are dependent on dedicated volunteers who are sensitive to the needs of our families.
Our wonderful volunteers help us by writing thank-you notes to the families who stay with us.
Volunteers can support the Reinhart Guest House mission in a variety of ways! Some of these include helping us answer phone calls, manage our welcome desk, greet and support family’s daily needs, perform light housekeeping duties, write thank-you notes, prepare meals, support administrative projects, and much more.
We love having school groups such as these boys from Glen Allen High School volunteer at the house!
We have volunteer opportunities for school groups, individuals (students and adults), families and friends, coworkers too! We would love to have you.
These two wonderful families cooked a delicious dinner for our guests one night!
